Yes it's bad and you shouldn't but there's no point owning a dog if it's constantly dicipline and you can't enjoy it.
I have a small dog and a queen sized bed so it's still very comfortable. Imagine having a great dane insisting on joining you :]
My dogs sleep in our bedroom (they are part of our family!), but not in our bed. If they did we would have no room at all!!! You try sharing a bed with a Saint Bernard and a Newfoundland!!!
I do have to admit thought, when my husband goes away on business for work I do allow the dogs to sleep with me! And let me tell you… they are the ONLY comfortable ones!!!

They need to be with their pack. We are their pack, therefore, they should sleep with us.

Actually dogs should be in your room with you when you sleep. Not necessarily in your bed unless you want them there, but dogs are pack animals and packs sleep together. Dogs want to be with you and should be with you even during the night. My dogs have always slept in our bedroom.

Great question. Blessings, Patti

I have two female dogs (one is about 40 pounds and the other 50 pounds). My fiance and I sleep in a queen size bed with BOTH of the dogs.
It's a tight squeeze but they love to cuddle.
We are definitely getting a king size bed next time!

I would let them sleep with you as long as you are comfortable. My husky and boxer used to sleep with me and my husband as as you can imagine they are too big now and it is no longer comfortable. So we made up beds for them at the side of our bed and they sleep there now. But as long as you are comfortable then I would say what the heck, why not?

My dogs sleep in my room (or any other room in the house, if they want) but they are absolutely not allowed on my bed, for two reasons.
1) training. Dogs are pack animals, and you'll have a much easier time training them if you think like a pack leader. The pack leader never allows lower members of the pack to sleep with them. If your dog sleeps in your bed you're telling him he's your equal, which can cause problems when you try to convince him that he has to listen to you when you're awake.
2) dogs don't wear shoes. even the cleanest dog in the world has been walking around outside, stepping in who-knows-what… I don't want that in my bed.

I have 4 large dogs and they are allowed to sleep with me once in a while. The rest of the time they are on my bedroom floor. I like to be able to drop my hand down and pat them in the middle of the night. They are not allowed up on the furniture unless I tell them to get up on the furniture.

i don't have a dog but my cat sleeps wherever she pleases in my house! why have a pet if they're not going to be part of your family? i don't understand people who have cats or dogs and don't let them in their homes, how can you enjoy even having a pet like that?

I don't think it's bad for the dog to sleep with you. Though I will admit, sleeping in a full size bed with myself and my boyfriend and our 40 lb dog gets a little cramped, so the dog is usually kicked outta the bed and has to sleep in her own bed. however she likes to get up and move around during the night. When I wake up in the morning she'll be sleeping in the walk in closet lmao. But if my boyfriend is away for the weekend or goes to work in the morning before I wake up, the dog usually comes and sleeps in his spot. haha. But there's nothing like sleeping at my boyfriends sister's house, we dog sat for her for a week while she was on vacation… it was a double bed, with 3 dogs (2 labs and a beagle) and 2 cats… holy smokes… no one could move.

I used to share my twin sized bed with my yellow lab, and she's a real bed hog. Now she's too old to jump up. I have a queen bed now, and my miniature poodle is always sleeping at my feet.

My Rott sleeps where ever I sleep. Not in my bed though. He follows me everywhere I go. He sleeps in my room next to my bed. He will not leave the room until I get up in the morning. Not even if my husband or kids trying bribing him he won't budge. I love it!

If your a pet lover then you consider your pets to be one of your kids, so enjoy them. However one of my dogs is a huge blue dobie so there is no room for him in the bed. Both of my dogs have beds in my room.

I have a 2 year old Boxer boy. I love him to death. But unfortunately my parents don't want him upstairs even though I let him upstairs when they aren't home. Much to his satisfaction he gets to relax in my room until we hear the garage open then he flies like a bullet down the stairs. He knows he's not allowed. But when I have to take care of my/my grandad's 6yr. old Pappy (Papillon) she ALWAYS sleeps on my bed. So at times they get to share the bed and I eventually get pushed off the bed. LITERALLY

Not in my bed, but in my room. Since she came home she has always been right beside my bed. She is going to be a big dog so we decided not to let her sleep with us. She is fine on the floor on her own bed.

If you’re in not good state and have got no cash to get out from that, you would have to receive the business loans. Just because that will help you definitely. I take commercial loan every single year and feel fine just because of it.
