You can get your first supply from your veterinarian, but be aware of the dosage because you can buy the human form much cheaper and it is the same thing. It will take several weeks before you notice a change. Many of these will help arthritic dogs. Also feeding a good quality diet and keeping the excess weight off will help too. Sometimes exercise like swimming in warm water will help loosen up the stiff joints. Has the vet suggested other treatment? Did he think you should consider putting the dog to sleep? A ramp built out of lumber for only two steps won't cost more than $20.00. Just take two 2x4's for the sides and six 1x4's and cut them two feel wide and nail them together and the dog will be able to get outside. <br><b>References : </b><br>Years of owning dogs.
