Who lets their dog sleep in their bed or in their room?

Yes it's bad and you shouldn't but there's no point owning a dog if it's constantly dicipline and you can't enjoy it.
I have a small dog and a queen sized bed so it's still very comfortable. Imagine having a great dane insisting on joining you :]

My dogs sleep in our bedroom (they are part of our family!), but not in our bed. If they did we would have no room at all!!! You try sharing a bed with a Saint Bernard and a Newfoundland!!!

I do have to admit thought, when my husband goes away on business for work I do allow the dogs to sleep with me! And let me tell you… they are the ONLY comfortable ones!!!

Where can I buy a cheap (under $50) chew-proof dog bed?

I am looking for a dog bed, of smaller size, approx. 20×20, that is chew-proof. I have found some that are made from the Denier Cordura fabric but are all over $65. Are there any good ones that are under $50? I have a little dashund that just loves to chew his bed, and therefore they dont last long. Anyone know where I can get one? Online or in a store?

i would try *gasps* Wal-mart! My dogs, all 3 are major chewers, but i got a mylon bed, x-large, for just under 50, and that was abt 3 years ago

bed? What do they do, what is your bed size, 2 people in bed or 1. There are 2 of us in a queen.

It doesn’t matter how big the dog, or how big the bed. The dog will hog the bed if he can.

Sewing Cat Beds/ Small Dog Beds?

I would like to start a new useful hobby that me and my pets are sure to love. Does anyone have some basic instructions for sewing pet beds or collars? Thanks xx

I made a pet bed for my cat Paddington last year. I am pretty good on a sewing machine, but for this project I didn't use one at all. All I did was get a regular cheap-o bed pillow and enough thick flannel to cover the entire thing. Then I cut two equally sized pieces of material that had about 5 inches of material surrounding all four sides of the pillow. Both pieces of material were rectangular shaped, one for the top and one for the bottom of the pillow. From each of those pieces of material, I cut three inch strips about one inch apart around all sides – so it kinda resembled fringe. Then I just knotted all of the strips from the top piece to all of the strips of the bottom piece. Make sense? Also, the material I bought had little fishbowls on it, so it was cute for a cat. And I must say, Paddington really enjoys her bed. Good luck, and happy crafting!

Dogs know that your bed is the most intimate place of yours, it smells most like you. When a dog pees on your bed, it is pretending to pee on you. It means that he is VERY mad at you. My dog went through this at a time when we were moving a lot, 3 times in 4 years. I just closed the bedroom door, and put lots of boxes and "stuff" on the furniture when I left so she wouldn't pee on stuff. She got over it when she figured out that I always came home.

Where can I find a tunnel bed, with the opening that stays open, for a small dog?

I want to make my small dog (bichon-poodle mix) a do bed for Christmas and I know I’m making it mostly out of denim. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for anything to do past that.

I was thinking about making it look like a real bed so if anyone has any ideas for that post it too. Thanks ahead of time <3

This is no doubt not the answer you want. I have a 9 yr old Westie and I am afriad a bit like ‘Mi casa es su casa”, slightlty different translation but ‘My bed is his’. Yes! he shares my bed and there is nothing in this world more comforting than him sliding under the bed clothes and thumping his warm back right next to mine. Okay I know I am a saddo but I love him to bits!!!
